Germany, Japan, the United States, Belgium and Saudi Arabia are the first destinations of the exports of all the forms of coffee by China.

With a total population of 1,3 billion inhabitants, the per capita consumption in China is only 50-70 grams, even if we consider that it is superior in urban areas.
For example, the per capita consumption in the urban region of Hong-Kong is estimated at approximately 2,2 kilos per person every year.
The total consumption of coffee in China could reach 2,8 million bags in 2020. It is equivalent more or less to the current consumption in the United Kingdom, what makes the China market particularly attractive for the world trade of the coffee.
